Job Overview:

The Software Quality Assurance professional is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software products. The role focuses on identifying bugs, improving processes, and ensuring that deliverables meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review software requirements and specifications.
• Design and execute test cases (manual and/or automated).
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers to resolve defects.
• Ensure software meets quality standards before release.
• Participate in release planning and quality reviews.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
• Experience with manual testing techniques.
• Ability to write clear and detailed bug reports.
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Basic knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Understanding of APIs and performance testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
